Super High Roller Bowl Online Kicks Off – Blom Leads Championship
In case you missed it, the Super High Roller Bowl kicked off on Tuesday at partypoker. The series will feature 29 events ranging in buy-ins from $10,300 up to $102,000 for the Super High Roller Bowl.
Over the first two days, 12 events were played to conclusion. Several big names took down online titles, including Chris Hunichen, Pascal Lefrancois, Daniel Dvoress, Dan Smith, Justin Bonomo, and Viktor Blom.
Chris Hunichen Defeats Viktor Blom to Take Event #2
Jans Arends took down the opening event of the Super High Roller Bowl, but Event #2 boasted an epic heads-up duel. Viktor “Isildur1” Blom made it heads-up against Chris Hunichen. The pair battled hard and in the end, it was Hunichen coming out on top, earning $479,250.
Mikalai Vaskaboinkau Defeats Kristen Bicknell for Event #4 Title
With the Super High Roller Bowl online, we will see champions we would not normally see in Las Vegas. Mikalai Vaskaboinkau is one such player. He took down Event #4 that featured a final table including poker power couple Alex Foxen and Kristen Bicknell.
Foxen only managed a fifth-place finish while his better half made it heads-up. She ultimately fell short, taking home $185,500. Vaskaboinkau took down his first Super High Roller Bowl title and $293,090.
Pascal Lefrancois Wins Event #6
The sixth event, the $10k Six-Max NL Hold’em, featured an awesome final table that included Alex Foxen, Dan Smith, Nick Petrangelo, Chris Hunichen, and Pascal Lefrancois. Lefrancois is hot off of a victory at Poker Masters Online in April.
Lefrancois took down yet another online title, defeating Alex Foxen heads-up for the victory and $259,629.
Dan Smith Wins Event #8 for $527,000
Event #8 was a $25,500 Super High Roller and both Victor Blom and Alex Foxen once again made the final table. This time around, Foxen finished fifth, while Blom once again made heads-up. This time he faced Dan Smith.

Blom was not meant to win this time around, settling for second and $365,500. Smith took down the title and the $527,000 top prize.
Third Time’s a Charm – Viktor Blom Wins Event #9 for $213,750
Viktor Blom and Dan Smith made the Event #9 final table as well, but with different results. Smith busted early, finishing in eighth place. However, Blom was finally able to take down a Super High Roller Bowl title in this one.
He faced Christoph Vogelsang heads-up and this time managed to close the deal. Blom earned $213,750 for the victory.
Justin Bonomo Wins Event #11
Event #11 was another $25,500 Super High Roller and this time around, we saw some of the biggest names in high stake poker at the table. Ali Imsirovic, Matthias Eibinger, Artur Matirosian, and Justin Bonomo all made the final table.
Ultimately, it was Martirosian and Bonomo battling for the title with Bonomo walking away the victor. He earned $622,634, the largest prize of the series thus far.
Viktor Blom Leads Super High Roller Bowl Online Leaderboard
Through 12 events, Viktor Blom leads all players for the Super High Roller Bowl Online Championship. He has three final tables, one victory, and $899,875 in earnings. Dan Smith is presently second and 114 points behind Blom. Daniel Dvoress is third and almost 200 points behind.
For this leaderboard, the eventual winner will receive a free entry into Event #28, the $102,000 Super High Roller Bowl. The event has a guarantee of $3 million.
There are plenty of events left to play. Points can be accumulated through May 31. On June 1st, the $102,000 Super High Roller Bowl kicks off along with a $10,300 Mini Super High Roller Bowl with a $1 million guarantee.
