PokerGO Releases Final 2018 WSOP Broadcast Schedule
With a little more than a week left before the start of the 2018 World Series of Poker, Poker Central has announced their live broadcast team for their WSOP streaming broadcasts. The 2018 WSOP will stream live on PokerGO from July 2 – July 17 and will feature 16 final tables leading up to daily coverage of both the 2018 WSOP Main Event and the $1M Big One for One Drop.
Ali Nejad and Lon McEachern Anchor Live Stream Team
Ali Nejad and Lon McEachern will headline the PokerGO streams this summer. Nejad is best known for his work on Poker After Dark while McEachern has been the long-standing head broadcaster for ESPN’s World Series of Poker.
Joining them in the broadcast booth will be a regularly rotating crew of color commentators. Norman Chad will be joining McEachern for some broadcasts, but the remainders will be announced at the time of broadcasts. In the past, color commentators have been a mix of poker players, media professionals, and other poker industry pros.
According to VP of content at Poker Central Sam Simmons, “We’re eager to continue our live coverage of the WSOP on PokerGO for the second year running. Our expanded coverage schedule including a wide array of poker variants will give our viewers even more opportunities to follow all the action of the world’s most prestigious tournament series.”
