Global Poker Awards Finalists Announced
The Global Poker Awards returns on March 6th and will award the best and brightest in the poker industry. This year, 18 categories will award poker players, media, and industry superstars from the previous year.
Fans and a select panel of voters will make their final selections from now until the end of the month. Today we will take a quick list of the nominees.
Ingram and Bradley Among Those Nominated
This year’s Global Poker Awards will be held on March 6th exclusively on PokerGO. According to a press release from the Global Poker Index, at least 12 nations are being represented in this year’s voting.
Among the most notable nominees are Joey Ingram and Lance Bradley. Ingram is being nominated in four different categories, with a lot of focus being placed on the cheating scandal involving Mike Postle. Media member Lance Bradley is being nominated in three categories for Media Content, Podcast, and Journalist.
Other nominees include Daniel Negreanu, Matt Savage, Jamie Kerstetter, Lex Veldhuis, and media member Haley Hintze. Categories range from Breakout Player to Twitter Personality, Final Table Performance, and more.
Fans Can Still Vote Until January 31st.
Final panelist and fan voting is underway and will continue until January 31st. Fans can vote in the People’s Choice categories of Best Hand and Poker Personality. The votes will be tallied and the winners will be announced in March at the PokerGO studio in Las Vegas.
