Sean Winter Headlines Aria High Roller Winners
Last week, Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas held their latest Aria High Roller Series. Four events played to a conclusion with multiple big names taking down titles. Barry Hutter, Darren Elias, and Sergi Reixach all took down $10k events. Sean Winter took down the $25k High Roller.
Sergi Reixach Wins $10k High Roller
The first of four high roller events kicked off last Sunday at the Aria. It drew a field of 32 players to create a prize pool of $320,000. The top five players made the money in this one. Sean Perry squeaked into the money, finishing fifth and earning $25,600. Eric Worre finished fourth and earned $32k.
Poker Central head honcho Cary Katz added another final table to his resume, this time earning $51,200 for a third-place finish. This left Daniel Colpoys and Sergi Reixach to battle heads up. It appears that the two struck a deal with Reixach coming out as the winner. Officially, Colpoys finished runner-up earning $103,080. Reixach won the title and $108,120.
This was Reixach’s first Aria High Roller title and his first win since taking down Event #8 of the 2019 Poker Masters.
Barry Hutter Wins $10k High Roller
The second high roller event kicked off last Monday with a slightly larger field of 39 players. This one paid six players. Sergi Reixach made the final table for the second straight day, but this time only managed a min-cash. He finished 6th for $23,400. Following him to the rail was Nitis Udornpim, who earned $31,200 for fifth.
Sergi Reixach, Barry Hutter, Darren Elias, and Sean Winter took down high roller events at ARIA this week, with more than $2.4 million in prize money awarded across the four high-stakes events.

Christopher Brewer was next out, earning $39,000 for fourth. Sean Perry added $62,400 to his bankroll with a third-place finish. Mario Mosbock and Barry Hutter battled it out heads-up for the title. They actually played it out, and eventually, Mosbock finished runner-up for $93,600.
Barry Hutter took down the title and $140,400. This was Hutter’s fourth career Aria High Roller title and his first win since taking down a $10k Aria High Roller back in October 2019.
Darren Elias Wins Largest High Roller of Series
The third Aria High Roller last Tuesday drew the largest field of the series at 53. This resulted in a full final table of eight players getting paid. Sam Soverel finished 7th in this one while Sean Perry made his second final table of this series with a fifth-place finish. Sergio Aido finished fourth for $53k.
Ali Imsirovic fell in third place to set up a heads-up battle between Joseph Cheong and Darren Elias. In the end, Cheong finished runner-up for $111,300. This game Elias the title and $169,600. Believe it or not, this is Elias’ first Aria High Roller title. He has enjoyed a lot of success in Las Vegas tournaments, just not at the ARIA.
Sean Winter Wins $25k High Roller
The $25k NL Hold’em High Roller kicked off on Wednesday and drew an impressive field of 48 players. Three of the final seven players were repeat visitors to the final table this week. Barry Hutter won an event and finished fifth in the $25k. Mario Mosbock was out next, finishing fourth. Dan Smith made his first final table of this series, finishing in third and earning $264,000.
This set the stage for Sean Winter and Eric Worre to battle for the title. Worre made an earlier final table and this time managed to finish runner-up, earning him $264,000. Sean Winter took down the title and $408,000 in prize money.
This is Winter’s fifth career Aria High Roller title. He also won a Wynn High Roller back in December, giving him two wins in a little more than three months.
Players won’t have to wait long for another crack at High Roller glory. There are four more events scheduled to kick off starting March 31st. This time, there will be two $10k NL Hold’em high rollers along with two $25k high rollers.
